WELCOME

Welcome to the home of WayWood Wines. We are a boutique winery based in McLaren Vale, South Australia producing small quantities of award winning wines including Tempranillo (Silver Medal at the 2010 Small Winemakers Show) and Shiraz Cabernet (selected in the Adelaide Hot 100 Wines for 2010). We are also recieving great feedback on our McLaren Vale Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio and our newest release Cabernet Franc.

We may be a new winery but our winemaker/owner has been in McLaren Vale for many years, contributing to the great wines made by Kangarilla Road and Gemtree wineries.  Now he's on his own and is putting his unique twist on his own WayWood brand.  As a small production winery we don't mass produce with just any bulk grapes that we can get our hands on - instead we carefully select the growers, vineyards and fruit to ensure only the highest quality goes into our bottles.

We aim to produce a quarterly newsletter with all the latest news, feature wines and the latest WayWood mixed dozen. If you would like to subscribe, please send us your details and we will add you to the WayWood Mailing list. We will also make the newsletter available for downloading and viewing from our website.
